Cards that Care

CARDS THAT CARE!

The Community Transitions Program participated in a service project last year through the Volunteer Center. We received a grant to work with Threshold Documents to print cards with art that was created by our students. These cards are now for sale and ALL proceeds will go directly to support the BSD Special Olympics program. Great holiday idea!

Cards can be purchased through the Bellingham High School ASB office between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM.

8 cards per package (each card has a different print)
$10.00

Please contact Dominique Lantagne through email if you are unable to come to BHS and would still like to purchase a set of cards.

Spread the word and thank you for your support!

Unified Bowling

Hello fans of Whatcom County Unified Sports!

Exciting things are happening in the world of Unified Sports in the Bellingham School District. I have received confirmation that our Unified Sports Program can move forward with the creation of a Unified Bowling league.

You will see the Facebook page and website transform over the next couple of weeks and will start seeing updates as the details come together to make this all a reality. I cannot be more excited and grateful for the support that the BSD has provided to allow all students to reach their full potential.

For now, I would like to find out who is interested in participating and I will begin the process of determining the best day of the week and time to hold practice after school.

Coach to be determined
Athletes: ages 8-18
Unified Partners: ages 8-18
September through October
Day and time to be determined
Park Bowl hopefully

(I would like to coordinate with the WWU/WCC Project Unify Club to see if they are interested in providing this same opportunity for students who are 18-21 and in Transitions.)

Please send me an email if you or anyone you know is interested in participating.

Spread the word to both potential Athletes and Unified Partners from elementary through high school!

Please be aware of the change in name of this website.
